These are the basic instructions for BT GPRS connections according to Orange
Setting up the modem
On the PDA, tap Start and then Settings.
Tap the Connections tab.
Tap the Connections icon.
Ensure that the Tasks tab is selected.
Under My ISP, tap Add a new modem connection.
In the Enter a name for the connection field, enter Orange GPRS
From the Select a modem drop down list, select Bluetooth and tap Next.
Tap the name of the handset and tap Next.
In the Enter the number exactly as it should be dialed field, enter *99***1# and tap Next.
In the User name field, enter user
In the Password field, enter pass
Leave the Domain field clear.
Tap Advanced.
From the Baud rate drop down list, select 57600.
Untick Wait for dial tone before dialing.
In the Extra dial-string modem commands field, enter +cgdcont=1,”IP”,”orangeinternet” and tap OK.
Tap Finish.
Tap OK.
Close the Settings screen.
Setting up the connection
On the PDA, tap Start and tap Today.
Tap Start, Settings.
Tap the Connections tab, tap the Connections icon.
Under My ISP, tap Manage exisiting connections.
Tap and hold the connection name specified in step 6 of Setting up the modem.
The Delete and Connect options will appear.
Making the connection
On the PDA, tap Connect.
On the handset, press Yes when asked to allow the use of your phone as a modem.
If the Allow connection screen appears, select Always allow and press Select.
You will now be connected to the GPRS service.
The improtant part is the Extra Dial String entries, which include the IP address of your provider. When you connect you will also need to enter the User Name and Password for the GPRS access of your Provider.
