Re: Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560 Review
HI all,
I've decided to buy a Pocket PC with built in GPS. In my search, I found the best one for my needs appears to be the Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560. I need it to have a powerful processor and this 'SirFStar III' GPS receiver because the standard receiver is much too slow. I will be using it as a backup navigation aid in the cockpit of a light aircraft when I am doing recreational flying. (I got the idea when I signed up to a package of 25 hours which would cost an extra 250 quid for a gps to be installed in the hired aircraft - I figured I could buy one for that! Well, to buy a professional aircraft one I would have to spend approx 1500 - 3000 us$ which is slightly outside my current budget! This one is compatible with GPSNav, and hopefully fast enough to keep track of where I am/where I'm heading!
Ok, now you've had a background, my question is, and it's mainly aimed at those who have bought this unit most recently.. what price do you think is the lowest I will get it at present? I've seen it for £324, but that's still a bit away from the £250 budget. I think I can leave off on buying it for another 5/6 weeks, but sometimes sooner can be cheaper than later! I see someone mentioned getting it for £309 but that was a short term promotion and has been removed from that site.
Sorry about the essay,
Hope you can help!
