Definitely independent, it's just that a lot of the members use Clove and have only good things to say about them. |
Seeing as there've only been good things said about Clove - I'll buck the trend:
Their website kills my browser! 
I don't know what it is (all that .scripting?), but Firefox (on Linux and Windows) slows to a craw when I go to Clove's web site. It basically makes my browser unusable, so I don't really go there any more...
