Got it today. The courier bag had been dropped, so there it was split on the corner, and the box was wet, and the manuals were wet, I was gutted, but I opened it none the less, the unit itself was perfect, wrapped in it's tiny plastic bag. It came with one stylus, and a charger and a usb cable. one disk and a manual.
It's an absolute beaut! it's so tiny and light, in perfect condition, no scratches on the glass or on the back or sides of the unit, no fingermarks or signs of wear and tear. It is lightening fast, and put some music onto it and put it through speakers and it sounds great!
I still didn't get a 4 gig sd card.. really wish I had one. One of the guys in work gave me tom tom 6 to try out so I'll install that once I find an SD card and see if it's the way to go gps wise. Haven't installed pocketFMS yet but about to. Having big problems connecting to the internet though... it spends ages trying to connect then complains that it's not been assigned an ip address. does anyone know any way around it. Also, can anyone explain that thing bout the task bar manager and the slow satellite acquisition mentioned earlier in the post, how do i upgrade it or check my version etc?
