I can vouch for this as I installed it on my wifes O2 IQ (Tornado Noble) just a couple of days ago. It's quite a lengthy process as upgrades go but I didn't have any issues. It's interesting to note that some of the guides have an incorrect version of the application unlocking section at the beginning which don't work on a completely virgin machine.
