Since I posted the earlier version of the HTC Home plugin, there have been many updates, and due to all the confusion starting to arise in my original thread for the HTC 6 Button Home plugin, I have closed that thread and opened this one to give you the most up to date package available that is just installed with one or two cab files so it could not be easier.

You will be able to preview, download and install seperate icons, clocks etc straight to your device online, and there is a dedicated web site that will give you full support. The configuration plugin is fully automated and menu driven.

It should run on most devices running Windows Mobile 6, I have tested it on the Kaiser, Trinity and the Hermes.

The screenshot is from my Kaiser and shows the look you can achieve.

Installation guide:-

If you do not have the newest version of Schen's 6 Button HTC Home today screen plugin already installed (v2.1.1005.722) you can download that HERE and install it to your device, as you need it to install the Customisation cab file.

If you have problems with the newer version, as some people have reported, then try the original version available HERE

If you now have the 6 Button HTC Home today screen plugin installed and working, you can now proceed to download and install the Customisation plugin which is available HERE. It is best to install and run this from your storage card as it will hog your devices memory otherwise.

The installation of the Customisation cab file will be automatic with full on screen prompts. After installation if you go to programmes you will find a black icon with HHC, tap on it to run the programme which will allow you to view, download and change your icons etc to whatever suits you.

If you have any problems with the contacts tab not showing, then you will need to remove the registry entry HKLM/Software/OEM/MASD/Quickdial using Resco Explorer or similar.
