I tried a full factory reset on the ipaq and installed it again, but still no spoken road names - just what I would refer to as the 'WAV' files of previous versions.

From what I can see text to speech isn't there now. Despite the marketing info saying it is. I have opened a support case with ALK UK, and will report back what I find from them.

However if you can fidn a way to turn spoken road names etc on let me know!
