I have installed a basic HTC Dopod rom on my Hermes and tried FunContacts and it does "spin" well without the need for TouchFlo, and should therefore run on all devices, so that is good news! It also displays the contacts alphabetically at the side of the screen as in the newer versions of the HTC sim manager.

I really like FunContacts and as The Mailman says if the issues are fixed it will be a useful addition to your device.
