Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review

thought i'd better add my ratings.

I have the Vodafone variant (V1615).

It's very difficult to get a 10 out of 10 from me

Functionality though achieved this as it really does everything i could want the device to do.

Sound I only gave it 8 - as no stereo speakers (can't have everything though can we) - and WHY put the loudspeaker on the back of the phone??

Value for money - again only 8 - it is still very pricey (for the HTC variant without mobile phone contract), even after the cost has come down (£50 dearer than the Polaris which has only just come out!!)

But although a little heavy (compared to the Orbit 2/Polaris) I am still totally happy with this device.

After owning the XDA Exec, I am totally happy with this device. No problems with playing my videos (as reported by some users) and music playback is grand (with headphones). Call quality is totally fine. And the battery!!!! Compared to the Exec I can actually go without charging every night! (although I do to perform overnight backups).

Now I'm sure there must be an integrated coffee maker within this device!

I'm just dreading parting with it when Windows Mobile 7 comes out - if all the accelerometers (spelling?) and multi-touch hype is to be believed... But a long term investment it is a mighty fine piece of machinery.

Once again, a fantastic review as well.
