Maybe it is happening soon? The rumours and dummy's of the new T-Mobile MDA Compact IV say it is a 2.8" VGA screen, but the casing and 'scroller pad' look very like the Orbit2 so probably HTC in origin.
I know the Polaris was originally rumoured to be VGA, but this one has some heavy official T-Mo hints behind it! 4GB ROM as well
