first i copied the Home plugin to my device and ran the cab file, this installed the program but did advise that it may not work correctly as it was for a previous version of windows, however the plugin appears to have worked successfully as i was able to set the tabs etc, i then did a soft reset( powered off, using the on/off button)
i then copied and installed the sdk/backlight fix - i did this as my previous attempts with running the customiser hadn't worked - this appeared also to go through fine, another reset,
i then copied and installed the HHC Customiser Final cab which installed succesfully,
i went into programs and selected the HHC black icon, which informed me it would unpack the packages, this took some time, after which i get an installation complete message.
i then get the first time message assuming that this uses an english version of the htc home plugin.
i click ok and get the following error:
cannot detect homw plugin version, defaulting to v1.5 settings,
i click ok and it starts to think after which i get the following error:
an unexpected error has occurred in homecust.exe.
select quit and then restart this program or select details for more information.
the system cannot find the file specified.
if i click on details i get the following:
homecust.exe
FileNotFoundException
The system cannot find the file specified.

i then press quit and it switches back to my program menu.
i the switch it off and try again, same error occurs, have tried removing and re-installing tried reset after each stage, but still no joy.
