I'm not sure about SE "Opening up the market" as everyone claims. SE have been making Symbian UIQ phones for many years now, but they are very much niche "flagship" phones. Most people have still never heard of Symbian, let alone UIQ - including most people with one of those phones! And, in terms of sales, they are a tiny fraction of the Nokia Symbian phones.
Whilst I think SE entering the market is great, I'm not sure it's going to completely revolutionise the WM marketplace in the way a lot of people are expecting. Most people still buy phones in the £150-£300 bracket - getting them free on £20/month contracts - so a nearly £500 phone is going to remain a niche product.
