Synchronizing phone numbers with PC

Hi,
I have a Vario iii and am running outlook 2007. I would like to backup all my contacts (people's phone numbers only) to my PC. What I've done first is copy all my contacts from my sim onto my phone (annoyingly I can't find a way to display either sim or phone contacts - not both - any suggestions appreciated!). I then selected in active sync to sync my contacts, and is says it's done this.

My question is, how do I find these in Outlook? And, if neccessary, how would I edit them on my PC and copy them all to my phone?

So far, in Outlook, I can just see a few email addresses which I've saved when emailing people in my contacts.
In help, it says this:
To synchronize your business contacts with your Pocket PC, you must first install Business Contacts for Pocket PC. To download and install Business Contacts for Pocket PC, see the Microsoft Office Online Web site.

For information and tips about synchronizing your business contacts with your Pocket PC, see the Microsoft Office Online Outlook Web site.

I've tried downloading BC for PPC onto my computer, but it doesn't work install properly (it can't find Office with BC..., something like that). I can't imagine that what I'm trying to sync are actually Business Contacts, and that it takes an add-in to get it to work.

Thanks so much!
