BT Stereo on TyTNII / N958GB etc

Hi guys

Short Chunnel trip to France ... picked up Philips SHB7100 A2DP Stereo headset as an impulse buy.

The main driver for me was that it had to have a standard jack to take any headset (even though it comes with one itself).

I have to say ... paired with the TyTNII and the N958GB and the quality with the supplied phones is great. You get a neck strap that holds the little dongle that has a microphone on the top, the 3.5mm jack and a button cluster which controls all the different media s/w on both devices - volume up down and track back forward + play pause toggle and phone answer (one dpad with a centre button). The supplied phones actually work very well and are on a short lead that can be removed from the top of the neck strap - this means the wires are at ear height and very short - which is great.

Sound is great - good bass, mid range and treble - no resonance ... easily enough volume ... and because microphone is on the dongle ... you can use the phone with any headset ...

I paid £50 at 'duty free' ... big rip off because I've seen them since for £18 + del ... but happy anyway.

Paul.
