Snap2Face - updated and released
We posted briefly about Snap2Facea week or so ago, but it is now completely updated and released publically:
We are pleased to announce that the availability of Snap2Face v0.8 which can be downloaded here. Screen shots can be viewed here.
Snap2Face Features
- Sleek, graphic-rich user interface
- Set your status while on-the-go
- View friends' status and detailed information
- View friends' friends and send friendship requests
- Get notified of events like wall post, message, poke, or friend request
- View your pokes, wall, inbox, and friend requests, all in full text
- Poke friends, send message to friends, and post on friends' wall
- Access you and your friends' photo albums
- Upload photos from built-in camera or file folder
- Import friends' profile photos to Outlook Contacts (photo Call ID)
Simply put, Snap2Face is a full-featured client for Facebook for the WM platform. And to our knowledge it is the only client out there. With photo upload/download and caller-ID features, it is much more powerful than what the iphone Facebook portal does for iphone users.

Just installed it in between callouts! It's a big improvement on the previous version...

Re: Snap2Face - updated and released
Does it still have the issue of saving contact pics in indvidual folders? Really messes up the Album system....

Re: Snap2Face - updated and released
Hmmm, I found some pictures in Application Data/Snap2Face, so it seems to store them all there...

Re: Snap2Face - updated and released
Exactly and that can cause overload of the Album...
The developers have also commented:
"One other thing. I noticed that there is a thread on your site talking about Snap2Face, and some users expressed concerns about privacy. I want clarify it here: Magnifoca Inc does NOT collect any Facebook user information. We don't build a user database or anything like that. There is no third-party server between your phone and Facebook, and all communications directly go from your phone to Facebook. "

Re: Snap2Face - updated and released
I have tried this version this afternoon, and although the inital setup and sync went ok, everytime i tried to do something with it, it would crash. I dont know if its a general fault with the software or a combination of the software and running on the stellar 6.1.

Re: Snap2Face - updated and released
God knows, hopefully the developers will chip in as I know they have been monitoring this thread.
