Proporta Alu-Leather Book Style Case Review

Reviews number 7 and 8 (eight?) of our 7 case Wizard multi shootout review are both from the same manufacturer. As with the two aluminium cases, the Proporta cases are sufficiently similar that I'll do two reviews, but they'll mainly...

It is different to other flip cases I've owned, but the fact that the flap hangs downwards means it's out of the way when I'm taking a call.

I use my phone way more for data than I do for making phone calls though, so it doesn't bother me.

Veering slightly off topic, this is one of the reasons I don't like the Vario. I'm used to touch typing with all 8 fingers and 2 thumbs, so my first instinct was to put it down on the table to type, which didn't work. I've never done thumb or single finger typing, so trying to mid air type with 2 thumbs was incredibly slow, because I don't know where the keys are visually. I'm much faster with the stylus on the screen, fastest with the letter recogniser, but better with the on screen keyboard than the physical one.

Hey Bassey, I've got the flip style case for tomorrow.

Excellent, though I'm begining to think that maybe the book style is more for me. However, I shall definitely be waiting for both tomorrow's review and the final comparison (is that tomorrow or has it been pushed back to Thursday with the extra review slotting in?) before making any firm decisions.

But you can't touch type on an Exec either, so it's no better, and not good for games, so even less suitable for me!
