An 8gb micro SDHC will work just fine in the Stellar.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review
Hi Guys, i guess i should just wait until tomorrow......but im TOO EXCITED!! lol
just a few questions really
1: How is the external loudspeaker for when making calls on it?
can you hear callers clearly and loud enough without distortion?
any complaints of them not hearing you?
how would you say it compares Clarity wise to the Nokia N-Series?
a bit worried as i have never had a make of handset other than Sony or Nokia
so HTC is a new kettle of fish
2: is Bluetooth Functionality good?
connects OK with Nokia CK-1W Car Kit?
i did hear there was a Bluetooth Problem and that HTC had released a FIX for it, then again i did read this from a Review made last October and this was on the HTC Tytn II review...... thoughts?
3: on my Nokia N95 8GB, i had an application called SKYECALLER, this would enable you to assign contact pictures to each person in your phone, then when they text you or ring you, their ugly mug appears in Full Screen Glory, any such thing to be found for the 02 Stellar??
4: i have a little Palm Z52 PDA, have been using it to store tour dates for my band, but was wondering IF when i enter the dates of our our gigs, coud i add more info for each date, like how much we get for our show, location of the gig, name of the venue, and lots more info?
its gonna be great that i can now get rid of my Palm aswell
MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP

1. Judge for yourself when it arrives.
2. Go read the Bluetooth section in the forums. Don't worry too much which phone is mentioned, so long as it's WM6 the results will be similar. One mod here had big problems with the Nokia car kit.
3. Yes, lots of ways to do this.
4. Yes this can be done if you buy Pocket Informant which extends the built in calendar, not sure how much you can do without. But there is a limit to how much info can be stuffed into the note to a calendar item, so you might be better off just linking to a separate Word document on the phone for each gig date.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review
1) The call quality is pretty good these days, about the same as a regular mobile, but not as good as the high end ones. I've not tried the Nokia but my guess is it might be a little better call quality wise from what I've heard.
2) Bluetooth is generally good now, but there are still a few issues. I think they may be issues with your car kit. FowlJr has had recent experience he may well be able to help more.
3) You can insert your contact photos into Outlook on your PC, and from there you when you sync with your device the pictures will be transferred to your device.
4) Again if you set up you use your Outlook calendar to store the information of your gigs (there are many different fields including free text ones to use) within the appointment and it will sync to your device.
The beauty of the Office/Windows Mobile combination is that what you have on your desktop you pretty much get on your device. WM is not perfect but the integration with office is excellent.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review
On point 2, I had a Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth Car Kit in my company car, but whilst it worked with HTC phones for hearing the calling party no problem, there were real issues that caused many people to complain that they could not hear me speaking. In the end, I abandoned using the kit and eventually had it replaced with a Parrot CK-3100 Bluetooth Car Kit, which has performed faultlessly since it was installed.....

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review
thought i'd better add my ratings.
I have the Vodafone variant (V1615).
It's very difficult to get a 10 out of 10 from me
Functionality though achieved this as it really does everything i could want the device to do.
Sound I only gave it 8 - as no stereo speakers (can't have everything though can we) - and WHY put the loudspeaker on the back of the phone??
Value for money - again only 8 - it is still very pricey (for the HTC variant without mobile phone contract), even after the cost has come down (£50 dearer than the Polaris which has only just come out!!)
But although a little heavy (compared to the Orbit 2/Polaris) I am still totally happy with this device.
After owning the XDA Exec, I am totally happy with this device. No problems with playing my videos (as reported by some users) and music playback is grand (with headphones). Call quality is totally fine. And the battery!!!! Compared to the Exec I can actually go without charging every night! (although I do to perform overnight backups).
Now I'm sure there must be an integrated coffee maker within this device!
I'm just dreading parting with it when Windows Mobile 7 comes out - if all the accelerometers (spelling?) and multi-touch hype is to be believed... But a long term investment it is a mighty fine piece of machinery.
Once again, a fantastic review as well.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review
Cheers for the comments, still an awesome machine but for me for sheer pocketability the Orbit still wins - unless I have a lot of emails ot send - at that point I switch back to the Stellar

Yep happy with the mount and i have been blessed with one of those that is easy to insert and remove the Stellar without any wear in time. Positioned perfectly so is easy to view, yet not distracting to me whilst driving and passenger can easily operate. Will have to put brief case in boot when travelling though as it will stuff the Stellar in an emergency stop lol.
It was harder to fit than I thought and despite the video on the website, you do need to pre drill the mount before fitting screws. The mount itself was hard to fit, but that's a positive, as it ain't going no where.
