Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review

Strange that over havign to pre-drill mouning holes. On my old Rover 25 (previous car) the mount fitted perfectly without any drilling being required. Unfortunately on my Rover MG that I drive now Brodit never updated the mount to fit the 'last' design revision so I had to get an alternative mount to sit the Brodit PDA mount on to. Again no drilling though.

The Brodit system does work well though and I do recommend it for mounting machines.

Will have to put brief case in boot when travelling though as it will stuff the Stellar in an emergency stop lol.

It was harder to fit than I thought and despite the video on the website, you do need to pre drill the mount before fitting screws. The mount itself was hard to fit, but that's a positive, as it ain't going no where.
At least there is a mount for your car. The Brodit mount for my 911 just didn't fit.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review

There are other companies whichmake mounts you can bolt to, as I had that problem with my MG.

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review

Hi dr.stefan- welcome to 4WM

Yes- you can put Co-Pilot on the Stellar and it will work fine. Pretty much any of the SatNav programs apart from iGO2006 would be OK.

Ah- sorry- just seen you referred to CPL6! I think it's OK, but I'm sure someone will chip in to confirm or not

Re: O2 Xda Stellar Review

Co Pilot 6 will run without problem on the Stellar. I noticed the low marks you gave for the Stellar Stefan!

Thanks neilm and boz for your advice. Now I’m sure that I’ll bay co pilot 6. I think CPL6 is enough for me and is much much chipper. I hope that one day I will be able to help some one as you did. Regards dr.stefan>>
