Re: O2 Xda Orbit 2 Review
Hi all, Im new to this forum and it all looks good so far!
I am currently running o2 xda orbit mk 1. But i find that whilst the functionality is good (co pilot memory map installed) it can be quite fiddly to make a call or send a text (fat fingers!) Im always fiddling with the stylus. so I use a se w600i for day to day calls and sms, and the orbit when im out and about on a weekend.
Is the orbit 2 better in these respects? the review would suggest so but im looking for feed back from day to day users. It seems as though Ive found a practical all in one solution (easy to use phone functions and sat nav) but i want to be sure before I buy.
What do you guys and gals think
Thanks for reading.

Re: O2 Xda Orbit 2 Review
The best way to get around the SMS sending issue is to use a larger button SIP like TouchPal - thats what I use and it works for me beautifully.

OT I know Daron- but have you got to grips with TouchPal now? Are you liking it? I have to admit, for me nothing else comes close now

Yep but I do tend to use it in precision mode most of the time.

thanks for your reply.... yeah, i never expect a US provider to have a bad-azz device like the Orbit. last year, i purchased the Orbit from a company called import GSM, but they aren't planning to sell it for now. i believe the UK friend route is my best bet for now. now to find that friend....

Re: O2 Xda Orbit 2 Review
I was just wondering if anyone could give me a brief idea as to whether the N95 8GB, the XDA Orbit 2 or the 16GB iPhone are better? I know that is quite subjective but just anyone's views would be appreciated. I love running windows on my phone and syncing with my desktop, I like the idea of having GPS, I love the high res screen on the nokia but I also like the idea of syncing itunes with the iphone and watching movies... so... any ideas or comments?
Thanks in advance.

Re: O2 Xda Orbit 2 Review
To me it has to be the Orbit 2 over the other devices you mention and that is not being bias, it is a fact that Windows Mobile devices are so much more versatile, you can play videos and music with ease, and the amount of software available (much of it free) is amazing, the screen on the Orbit 2 is excellent and you will have no problems there. The iPhone doesn't have 3G and the amount of software available is limited, the Nokia runs a Symbian operating system and that can be a pain to get along with, not only that it is a Nokia!
