Whilst the button thing works, you DO need to be a contortionist or have four hands. I just go Start->settings->System->Clear Storage.

Does the same thing as long as the device is running.

Thanks firstbuddah and waveydavey - I have already tried your suggestions (it's what was in the booklet) but nothing happens. I've tried short presses, long presses, every way I could think of but nothing.

Re: O2 Xda MiniS

I have just brought one of these but it has de activated my TOM TOM. I actualy think my nephew erased part of the programming although Navigator 6 is still there.

I have contacted TOMTOM, most unhelpful as the item came with no product code and each time I attempt to access tom tom it calls for the productcode . Any suggestions.

Re: O2 Xda MiniS

The reason your TomTom has stopped working is you have changed device and the device code will have changed.

Ordinarily this isn't a problem as TomTom allow two activations with a single product code. You can do more but have to produce documentary evidence to TomTom of the new device purchase.

Your TomTom should come with a product code. TomTom don't supply the product without as it's necessary for activation.

Where did you get your original TomTom from? If it was from e-Bay or similar, the likelihood is it's not legitimate if there's not Product Code.....

The Product Code is used to activate the maps, not the software application itself....
