Re: O2 Xda Mini S Review

Well I'm just waiting for my Wizard to charge before I apply the Imate ROM, and we'll put this argument to bed...... for the time being.

Kindof.... Microsoft always takes the opportunity to 'tweak' between AKU's. In 1.0 they added SAP profile, so when used with a Nokia flash carkit it should copy the sim card to the local carkit. Very geeky, but I've no idea if it works (not having a BMW myself but a more sensible Mondeo).

In AKU1.1 they added A2DP but it's performance was pretty naff, and was never enabled by the OEM's.

In AKU2... well I'm sure a PM can continue that discussion!

My DLInk 604GT sees in it G mode only, and my Linksys sees it G mode as well.

Unless they are lying about going G only (an IT vendor overstating technical capability? never....)

Its a good review. Thanks for putting in the gif of the box on - so much effort went into it
I don't trust this quote.... it can't have come from O2!

Re: O2 Xda Mini S Review

Hmm.... had a spot of bother with an Invalid Vendor error, but CID is now unloaked and we're flashing!

P.s. Southern Man, if yours is G, would you be interested in swapping with mine? I've got a really cool box!

Seriously great review guys, I'm seriously tempted. I also think that we will probably opt for some of these at work.

I am with Carlos though, if a similar sized phone edition ppc with VGA screen, no keyboard and g wifi out of the box were available I'd have placed my order already.

Re: O2 Xda Mini S Review

Right then, the rumours are confirmed. The Imate flashed O2 Mini S does connect and rather sweetly I might add to my router set on G only.

Hmm, this is sounding ever more tempting. Wavey is conducting a one man campaign to tempt me into buying one of these, and come February he will probably win.
