TomTom used to do exactly this, it was when I had the Dell Axim X50v, connected to my Nokia 6810...

All worked sweetly...

Not yet Daron, I've just asked Chris for an update, as Timothy has mentioned in another thread that middle of August may be the target date, seems no-one got their shipments!!

I can wait though!

Re: Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560 Review

Re: TMC
You don't need a mobile phone connection for TMC, the GNS FM9 RDS / TMC-Adapter for Loox N500/N520 uses FM RDS signals. Sony Navigation uses it, via a craddle, and I believe you could get it for previous Loox's.

Anyone know if this is available for the 560 or comes with it?

pkr I've modified your post slightly to show the model code and to get rid of that long URL.

Also changed the link to the English page, and if you look at the text towards the bottom is does say it is available for the:

Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N500
Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N520
Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560
Fujitsu-Siemens Loox C550

but the only software that uses the system currently is limited to:

- NAVIGON MN5
- FALK Navigator TMC Edition (special version for MyGuide Navigator 6500XL TMC Bundle)
- DESTINATOR PN

So no good with TTNV5

Re: Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560 Review

Thanks for the reply. I've just got an email back from the company linked there and they don't sell a UK model

Still it's good to know I can at least get the TMC kit, although it looks to be another expense rapidly closing in on £500.

I'm very green to all the GPS stuff, and I've read some very mixed reviews about Navigon so I guess you think it's pretty poor?

TomTom Version 5 is considered by many to be a vastly superior product.

I'd be tempted to go for an N560 running TomTom Version 5 and just get the traffic updates via a bluetooth link to the Mobile Phone of your choice. GPRS bundles are so cheap now that the savings from using a cradle and the FM signal would be miniscule and outweighed by both the initial outlay for the cradle AND having to use an, IMO, inferior product.

SEconded that is my opinion too, although I've not tried any alternatives excepting CPL6.

So if I got TomTom would that use TMC since some TomTom hardware seems to support it http://www.clove.co.uk/viewproduct.a...B-91716AEB9EC3
