OK, just in case anyone visits this forum, I managed to find a BT Voyager and connect to it. It is only when a wireless network is found that the menu appears. Bluetooth is still a problem.

Hi Mike,
Welcome to 4WM, glad you got the wireless issue sorted, what problem are you having with Bluetooth?
I access both the Wireless and Bluetooth settings from the applets in the bottom right of the today screen on my N560...
Cheers,
Jim

Re: Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560 Review
HI all,
I've decided to buy a Pocket PC with built in GPS. In my search, I found the best one for my needs appears to be the Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560. I need it to have a powerful processor and this 'SirFStar III' GPS receiver because the standard receiver is much too slow. I will be using it as a backup navigation aid in the cockpit of a light aircraft when I am doing recreational flying. (I got the idea when I signed up to a package of 25 hours which would cost an extra 250 quid for a gps to be installed in the hired aircraft - I figured I could buy one for that! Well, to buy a professional aircraft one I would have to spend approx 1500 - 3000 us$ which is slightly outside my current budget! This one is compatible with GPSNav, and hopefully fast enough to keep track of where I am/where I'm heading!
Ok, now you've had a background, my question is, and it's mainly aimed at those who have bought this unit most recently.. what price do you think is the lowest I will get it at present? I've seen it for £324, but that's still a bit away from the £250 budget. I think I can leave off on buying it for another 5/6 weeks, but sometimes sooner can be cheaper than later! I see someone mentioned getting it for £309 but that was a short term promotion and has been removed from that site.
Sorry about the essay,
Hope you can help!
C.

Might be worth keeping an eye out on the front page. Clove Technology are doing special offers on this forum, currently an iMate Jaq3 and a Fujitsu C550. I have no knowledge of what's coming up in the future, but Clove do sell the N560.

Good idea, are Clover independent or do they sponsor this site? They do seem to get good praise here!

I'd also watch Expansys deal of the day too. They've had the N560 on there a lot often with £80 or so off.

Don't know what software you were planning on using comput1, but MemoryMap have flight charts as part of their offering.
Try http://www.memory-map.co.uk/maps_uk_intheair.htm
I've not used the flight charts myself (only ever had the 1 flying lesson. Loved it, but couldn't afford to pursue it) but use their software all the time for Hillwalking and cross-country navigation.

Definitely independent, it's just that a lot of the members use Clove and have only good things to say about them.

Seeing as there've only been good things said about Clove - I'll buck the trend:
Their website kills my browser!
I don't know what it is (all that .scripting?), but Firefox (on Linux and Windows) slows to a craw when I go to Clove's web site. It basically makes my browser unusable, so I don't really go there any more...
