No official ETA yet I'm afraid and as far as I know there have been no UK SP adopters confirmed yet either.

Excellent review thanks Dave. AmI right in usumng that there is no difference between the HTC 5700 and the 5701 other than WM6. And according to the salesman in the shop yesterday he said that HTC would provide a free upgrade in 2 months ???

OK gave in today and bought one in London! They also had a whole load of extras in stock already such as the 4-in 1 cable £14, extra battery £34 and even a brando screen saver for £10. They even have the car mounts in too.
Apparently no release plans for the 7501 at present only released in the US and doesn't have a camera?? !! Anyway they did connfirm that there will be a free upgrade for WM6 coming soon.

Its still on charge but initial thoughts or reason for buying this is that will definately be leaving the laptop behind more often now.

Re: Review: T-Mobile Ameo (HTC Athena)

I used it for a fortnight and found myslef turning the lappy on less and less. It depends of course what you use your lappy for but for basic stuff if you're returning to a desktop now and again I think you can forgo on the lappy. Definitly is a quality piece of kit.

Dave have you tried the "super screen protector" that came with it?

Yep. I installed it as a rubbish screen protector is better than no screen protector but it would be something I'd be eager to replace as soon as a decent one was available.
