I found that as long as you apply them carefully the provided screen protectors just about do what they are supposed to. If on the other hand you try one of the specialist screen protectors like a martin fields, proporta or a ppc techs one you'll find them very difficult to apply and a bit limited from a visual perspective.

Eeek help!! tried to use an unlock program that (a) backup .nb file (I named bk1.nb)
(b) flash the rom (c) unlock for any network (d) flash back the original .nb file

It crashed after (b) and is still working because I have not powered down or reset.

1. Can I check to find out if the rom was in fact flashed
2. how do i restore the backup (before my ameo becomes a brick)

what is hard spl dave - OK need that - would you have a link xda-dev wont let me download; weird 'cos I am a member.

Hard Spl is a tool that replaces the bootloader and adds a sort of safety net in case of bad flashes. See here:

Thanx Dave - got it I think (several versions) the exec is AthenaWrapper.exe and is menu driven and works! Thanx for yr help - good heads up!
