Yes we are - we are talking about the point made in the review with regard to the iGo My Way licensing model aren't we? The review was great - if that is what you are getting at - but the review has pinpointed a couple of shortcomings, at least one of which is pretty major, hence the progression towards pressuring them to get it sorted - now or on a later version. The software looks really good, but unless they resolve these issues it is going to impact upon their ability to globally market their kit to discerning consumers.

Yes- point taken Griph We can only hope they may see some sort of sense for future releases, but the fact that they shelved plans for releasing iGO2006 on MicroSD as long ago as last Summer does not bode well.

Indeed - a short sighted approach! I dont think they can afford that - and if not careful are going to end up in that great elephant graceyard that is failed IT enterprises! Those that fail to get market share in the face of competition oh so frequently disappear - a lesson that should have been learnt since Brunel's broadgauge railway, BetaMax and now HD-DVD. I hope not - there are other GPS packages out there, so the competition is pretty strong.

nice review Neil. I tried a copy of this software given to me on a usb stick which contains all maps. I like the way the street names are visible. but I'll stick to using tt as its legal

I agree- the interface if iGO is much nicer; wait till you see iGO8 I'm planning a review in the next 6 weeks, time permitting!

Still, we have to agree about the use of legal programs!

Re: iGO MyWay 2006 Satellite Navigation: Review

I'm all for paying for what I use (I wish I could say the same for the others in the office). I do like the interface of iGO. I have tried TT on my diamond, but it seems not to keep up with the location I am currently in (off by 50meters), so I end up going passed streets I should turn down.

That's unusual Windoze9t8!

The clock on the Diamond is correct I assume?

No other processes running in the background?

The Clock displays the correct time...

It worked on my Trinity just fine with the same apps running except TouchFlo. Maybe I should try it without TF on?

I have read that iGO8 will is not supported on the Diamond - can anyone confirm this.

Re: iGO MyWay 2006 Satellite Navigation: Review

I can confirm that

Nav'n'Go use a licensing system that ties the application to the SD card it is supplied with- it makes using it on multiple devices easy, but of course it needs a Micro/Mini/SD slot to plug the card into. Therefore it won't work on the Diamond.
