It's installed and I've done some basic setup so I'll report back when I've had enough time to give it a proper hammering. All is well so far (it switched into Silent mode when I got to work this morning).

I've had major problems with this on my Ameo with WM6.1

During setup, if I go anywhere near the sound 'Play' button it drops back to the home screen and reverts ALL setups to default, losing any customisations.

Then I tried a soft reset and the device hung at the splash screen- repeatedly; thank goodness for Safe Mode.

Uninstalled, but WiFi was unavailable. Needee to remove all connections and remake.

Suspect it may be a compatility problem with PocketPlus

Blimey, that's a big Ouch! What ROM are you using on the Ameo with it Neil?

That's unusual, I'm running it on my Kaiser with both Pocket Plus 4 & Mobile Shell 2.0...

As I'm seeing glitches with a few programs, I suspect it may be more to do with the ROM than the program, but I'm at a loss as to why.

I'm using an 'ultralight' WM6.1 ROM based on the new Advantage X7510- omits a number of normal Advantage apps such as File Explorer, Opera and Windows Media Player.

Looking at my above comment, it strikes me that the removal of WMP may have something to do with the problem in Phoneweaver config where trying to test an alarm sound makes the whole thing fail- especially if PW1.2 is hard coded to use WMP.

The hang at startup could be a PP4.1/PW1.2 conflict. I'll give it another try with a different setup. Don't know why the WiFi broke

Hmmm, interesting, it might be worth my putting a question over to SBSH on the WMP angle, what do you think?

Problem solved

Due to the problem of some other apps not working as expected, I've changed to another WM6.1 ROM, and all apps, including Phoneweaver are now OK.

Now, to go through the configs again
