Which ROM are you using now then neilm?

Hmm- spoke too soon

Using the AP5 ROM PW does indeed run without issues. Reloading PocketPlus 4 however caused the irreversible freeze after soft reset, needing Safe Mode to rectify. Tried a number of config changes to both apps with same result, so its goodbye Phoneweaver- I can't do without PP

Hmmm, I just don't get a problem with PP4 and Phoneweaver on my current Kaiser ROM... That is definitely a strange one neilm.

Maybe an issue with VGA then? I'll try it with the trinity

The AP5 and Irus ROMs use different WM6.1 kernels, so I'm not sure if the ROM is to blame.

Hmmm... I haven't used Phoneweaver on the VGA Ameo which has PP4 installed, as I don't really use it as a phone... I'll bung it on later and give it a try...

I said I'd keep you up to date. So far, everything has been a breeze and I registered te software last week. I have timing and calendar based profile switches set up and everything has worked perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that, if I have to make a manual switch to the profile, the auto-switch seems to get turned off until I manually turn it back on again. This is okay if you have the Today plugin or the system tray icon showing, as you can see the auto feature is turned off from there. But I keep all that hidden to maximise the PocketBreeze info on the today screen so sometimes miss it.

I'm about to start fiddling to see if I can set up PhoneWeaver to turn off push-mail overnight and need to create a "training" profile with bluetooth audio that auto-launches MemoryMap for when my new bluetooth headphones turn up

Anyway, great app and well worth the money.

Yep, took me a few seconds to get that done and a minute or so to set up a training profile. Once I'd got my head into the way of thinking required for PhoneWeaver it was a piece of cake.

Is it possible when running Tomtom, to turn off the device so that Tomtom still runs in the background with Phoneweaver?

I know this can be done with iGO 8 without using Phoneweaver, I ask because I have problems using Tomtom in my pocket when motorcycling.

I wouldn't have thought so. You could turn off the backlight but the screen would still be active.

Mind you, doesn't PocketPlus have a function for turning the screen off (don't have it installed at the mo to check)? If so, you could get Phoneweaver to execute that app as all the little PocketPlus functions are implemented as separate exe's so that you can map a key to them.
