PocketZenPhone Version 5.01
PocketZenPhone
€5.00

I hate to say this is a *must have application* because that term gets used far too often for applications that are just so,...

What rom Version are you on Dave, I'm using 1.13 here. I also tested the new BT stack on the magician, I've since removed it but am now casting doubt on it as part cause for the problem.

Cheers

I think I'm on Big Storage 1.11 still H. I don't think I went up to either 1.12 or 1.13. BT is as standard.

Maybe this has something to do with Dave, the radio stack is also updated with the newer roms.

I also use phoneAlarm because of the notification functions in addition to the profile management. If all you want are profiles, another option is PPCProfiles Pro. I used it for profile management until I switched to phoneAlarm. It's a good product and the price is right (free).
Get it here:

Re: Review: PocketZenPhone

I am wondering if this works similar to my old Sony Ericsson phone profiles, where I could switch profiles and the volumes would change like here, but the nice thing is that the call forwarding number would change too.

So I could set one profile (home) and have my calls forwarded to the home phone when I switch profiles. Or select, another one, if I am at my best friends place and have the phone forwarded there. I generally do this where I get a bad signal and really miss this feature with my new phone.

Could also set accessories like different headsets, silent mode, or vibrate mode. Are these on there too?

All of those options are certainly available with PhoneAlarm, I've not used the forwarding option but the others you mention I've used.

Re: Review: PocketZenPhone

Hi Don,

Yes, it should all work fine.

Oh, and he's not watching you. It's a cheeky script in his sig that inserts the user name of whoever is viewing.
