I use Spb Pocket Plus for the close functionality

I used to be a Plus user, but I just can't help going back to Magic Button... And with Shell, I don't really need all the features of Plus....

Re: Review: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

WA2 has a great working Close/ok function and I have this mapped also to the actual 'OK' button on the Ameo using AEbutton v2.51. Both close any app down with no issues.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

AMAZING MUST HAVE! I love this app. I personally do not need/want a true-close button. Like it was said, the major apps these days have an exit from the menu (e.g. Live Search... also a must have). The MobileShell today plugin is BEAUTIFUL and finger friendly!! And the contacts search also wonderfully finger friendly! I think I've completely lost my desire for the IPhone, not that I ever really wanted it. MobileShell makes all of the common everyday tasks quick and touch friendly if you want it to be while still leaving unobstructed access to the more complicated windows tasks.

Only thing I would prefer is to be able to place the clock from the now screen onto the today screen.

Here is my today screen:

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

You could kind of accomplish the clock effect by installing HTC Home for the today screen and remove the Mobile Shell plugin. You should still get the lovely now screen, but then you'd have a better display on the today screen.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

insert "Time tab" as an additional tab within Mobile Shell - then you can have an active icon of the clock

...or I guess you could even just use the Time plugin separately on the today screen.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

I tried the HTC Home plugin. Wasn't that impressed, although its FREE which is good. But I think Mobile shell is a simpler cleaner today screen look. Plus I couldnt really figure out how to customize the look of the HTC plugin

Thumbs down Re: SPB Mobile Shell 1.0

Sorry - this program sucks ...

Looks good and if you don't want to connect to Bluetooth it's fine but it seems to screw up bluetooth connections and the upgrades haven't sorted it out. Advised the programmers and received nothing back as a response. Dumped the product and the company.

SHARK!

What device are you using? I haven't had that issue on Hermes, Ameo or Touch!
