Re: Krusell Cabriolet Multidapt for HTC Wizard Review

I've tried to be as objective as possible, and we've had a fair few discussions about the cases in the moderators lounge about case functionality, style and the admin teams opinions on these facts. Some people have loved one style, hated another. Some people love the functionality of one case and not another.

While the scores reflect my opinion, it is an opinion of how good the case is at doing what it's supposed to do. I just would not use some of these cases because of certain facts. But this has not affected my scoring. The conclusion has a more complex scoring method breakdown and explanation of the scoring, which will be posted Wednesday.

Two things you need to bear in mind are that a) looks can be deceiving, and while I've tried my best to cover all angles I have missed a couple of things (nobody is perfect). Where I have missed important information I've gone back and updated the review. If you take another look at the Noreve review, after the comments we made in the review Noreve have changed the design of their connector. We had great feedback from Michael and Julien at Noreve I've updated the review and rescored it.

and b) this Krusell case is NOT designed to be very protective. It's whole function is to provide fast access to your device and a good carrying solution. It does this very well, I couldn't really fault it for what it is and does. Hence the high score. Without pointing fingers, if you look at the Alu cases, it's the opposite way around. They are fully designed for protection, and they're good but the plastic clip is not. They were marked down for a poor clip connector that compromises the protection, not because they were a bit heavier than the other cases or whatever.

I appreciate that everyone will want different uses for their cases, and different uses than me, so like I said have tried to be objective. As I said earlier, I wouldn't ignore the marks because they reflect how well the case performs its designed task. The review text hopefully describes what it's good and bad for, but the marks reflect how successful it is.
