HTC Touch Dual + HP iPAQ Folding Keyboard

I had been using my HP keyboard with an iPAQ 2200, using the original driver that came with the keyboard, sucessfully for a few years. I'm now trying to get my new HTC to 'talk' to the iPAQ keyboard, but without much success. I've googled it to death but can't find any updated drivers for this keyboard for WM6 or any other info.

I've tried installing the original WM2003 driver but I get the message 'DKB Driver Cannot Be Opened' and if I try to get the HTC to 'recognise' the keyboard it just returns a 'Connection could not be established' message.

Anyone else tried this? Any advice gratefully received

Dave B.

Re: HTC Touch Dual + HP iPAQ Folding Keyboard

Hi dave27, is the keyboard made by HP or made for HP? Is it Bluetooth or USB? I'm wondering if the drivers for something like one of the Stowaway Keyboards could be used?

Mate …. Didn’t find this through google but I’ll try it now TVM Oddly, after trying the WM2003 driver from the original HP CD, it froze my HTC and wiped out all my Pocket Informant info ….. a quick restore from B/U got in all back

Re: HTC Touch Dual + HP iPAQ Folding Keyboard

Tried the driver but no joy.

Going to 'settings > connections > bluetooth' then choosing 'Add new device' IDs the 'BT-FoldableKB' but then asks for a passcode to enable connection ....

.... stumped. They seem to recognise each other but it's the passcode that seems to be causing the problem

Re: HTC Touch Dual + HP iPAQ Folding Keyboard

Well, yes and no .... seems to recogise the keyboard as active but whenever I try to use it (say, in 'word') then there is no response to the keys pressed.

Really appreciate your help going to call it a night for now & recommence tomorrow.

Cheers a lot, Dave B.
