Bike Mount solution
I've sorted out my bike mount solution for mounting my Touch Cruise onto my Mountain bike. I got a generic RAM Mount to attach to the handle-bars. This provides a pivoting arm to position a holder and accepts all sorts of RAM Mount holders.
GPSW: Handlebar mount, arm and diamond base (No Holder) (Buy/Full Details)
I then ordered a RAM "Generic PDA Holder". When this arrived it was far too big and clearly unsuitable. So, I sent an email to GPS Warehouse asking for an RMA and explaining what I was looking for. They emailed back the next day with a number to get an RMA along with the dimensions of a Touch Cruise and links to several holders they felt would be suitable along with the one they thought would best do the job ( this one).
So, I ordered that one and it's a beauty. It JUST fits the Touch Cruise. There is very little play to either side and about a cm above and below. It comes with foam inserts to cut-to-fit around the device. These were done in about a minute and the whole thing was fitted to my bike in less than 5 mins. It is very secure and very adjustable.
It comes with a rubber screen. This forms a waterproof seal around the device and is flexible enough to allow some control of the device touch-screen through the rubber. Though, to be honest, I'll only really be stabbing at the screen occasionally to get the backlight back on.
Anyway, it's a great bit of kit and GPS Warehouse were brilliant. I'd highly recommend them. Both mounts also arrived next day to the Isle of Man!
EDIT
Okay, I've added some pics of it in situ.

Re: Bike Mount solution
Fab review Bassey.
Be great to see some pictures of it on your bike with the device inside.
How secure do you feel the box is if (hopefully it never happens) but your bike were to fall over with the device attached?

Re: Bike Mount solution
I'll see if I can sort out some pics of it "in-situ".
The device would be perfectly safe in the event of an accident - unless I went A*rse-over-tit. The box is VERY sturdy and the device well cushioned. It's also mounted centrally, so a fall to either side would be protected by the handle-bars.

Re: Bike Mount solution
That is the perfect solution Bassey!
I have been waiting for that case to fit my motorcycle I am going to order one now along with the ball for the yoke mount and I will be sorted with my Orbit 2 and Tomtom.
Cheers for the heads up mate.

Re: Bike Mount solution
Bassey, all you need is a dynamo now mate, to power the Touch Cruise and you'll be away, no worries about the backlight then either!

Re: Bike Mount solution
If only I'd thought of that earlier.
Do you think I could fashion together a similar setup using piezo-electric materiels within the heels of my walking shoes for when I'm out walking?

That's actually a really cool idea. I think you'd have to get some way of evening out the current but it might just work.....

Re: Bike Mount solution
Maybe use the dynamo to power the external battery thingy I got from Maplins and have that hooked up to the Touch Cruise. There is definitely room for both in the Aqua Box. Although the plug on the end of the cable probably wouldn't fit
