I purchased a bluetooth stereo Dongle from eBay last night, but not the usual USB kind. With several potential uses in mind, I opted for a
3.5mm stereo dongle. I can then plug this into my old Creative ZEN, my PC, a telly or whatever else I wish and use my bluetooth headphones with it.
My main driver is the potential future purchase of a Running Treadmill. We're having the garage converted into a study/utility room at the moment to free up the spare bedroom for when the baby arrives. The plan is to put the old telly (big crack accross the screen but okay for occasinal use) up on the wall above the PC and connect the two via the telly's VGA input.
Logon to BBC iPlayer and whack on the bluetooth headphones and I can be watching telly whilst doing my walking training and not disturn the kids whilst they are asleep upstairs!
Anyway, for £22 incl P&P it seemed like a bargain compared to the cheapest I had seen elsewhere (£35-£40). I'll report back on performance when it turns up.
