File size limitation? (tomeraider)

Hi all, I've another problem: I can't open an tr3 (tomeraider) file with 1.7GB!
It says: this file is either old .tr file or write protected... (and some stuff more).
The same tr3 file on the same SD card open on another winmob device, and on a PC w/o problems.
I also tried an older version of this Wikipedia (about 1.1 GB) no problem on the
F900, so what is the problem?

Can someone of you test tomeraider with some really large file?

thx

Re: File size limitation? (tomeraider)

I can confirm that even the large Wikipedia .tr3 file (3.3GB) opens fine on my HTC devices, so it isn't an OS or Tomeraider limitation.

I'd help you out, but I'm not paying to download the wikipedia file. Is there a free version available that I could try for you?

Hey man, I tried that file you posted the link to and it opened pretty much instantly. Not sure what the issue is for you. Maybe you just got a corrupted file when you downloaded that somehow manages to work on other phones? Anyway, worked fine for me.

Hey, thanks for trying!
Well I don't have to understand everything, so I don't have to understand why the file worked on the other devices, anyway: i downloaded it again and guess what: it works!
So, thanks for testing, and this case is settled.
