Re: Manila 2D (TF2D) for M900,F900,X960 (WVGA)

I have manage to make a WVGA HTC Audio Manager Fix

- Audio Player, Library and Ringtone Page now in WVGA

But still available only in Portrait...

It may take me a day or two or more to make a Landscape WVGA

I'll be posting the fix later at the first post under fixes

Pls. Post any feedbacks if the the procedure/files worked for your device...

Hi,
Great post, I have installed this on to my I8000 and it works great apart from when I scroll from item to item, it continues to display the previous screen, any help on this will be great.

Cheers,

Wiggy

Hello all,
So happy to see this guide, have followed it to the letter and all works fine on my I8000 apart from when I scroll between screens the back ground doesnt change it continues to display the previous screen.
Any help on this would be great.

Cheers,

Wiggy

Glad it worked on the I8000...

Do you mean the previous background seems to "blend" with the newly scrolled widget? Can you post a screen shot?

If the "blending" is the case, it is caused by the background file is still in VGA, fix is in "FIXES"

Re: Manila 2D (TF2D) for M900,F900,X960 (WVGA)

Hi Daskalos,

Thanks, this is fantastic!!!

I took delivery of an S200 today. My previous phone was a Touch Pro so I missed Manila 3D straight away, but within a few hours, and thanks to you I have Manila 2d up and running : )

I've noticed that if I apply the background fix it works briefly, but then the backgrounds start smearing into one another. Any ideas?

Also, do you know which xml or manila files to edit to point the calendar to Acer's own, and the Comm Manager on the settings tab to Acer's own too?

*EDIT* I put the old focus/background files back into Windows/ManilaGFX and everything worked again (aprt from the wallpaper being too small). Then I made a wallpaper 480x640 (by accident, I meant to make it 480x800 ; ) and applied it using Manila 2D customiser and now the smearing has gone, and I have a full wallpaper in all tabs.

Other observations:

Finger scrolling in the audio library does not work for me.
Finger scrolling in the Photos and Videos tab does not work, though pressing the little arrows does.
The thumbnail preview does not fill the 'polaroid' on the Phtos and Videos tab.
Finally, HTC Task manager and Volume controls did not work for me - something to do with it being windows 6.5 perhaps??

I really really love this, thanks : )

Hmmm, I think you must slide your way to the Home Screen Tab. I don't have an Xperia so I can't be sure....

I think the end button is really not assigned to bring up the homescreen in M2D

Can you please PM or post up a link to the working HTC task manager, I cant seem to find one for the life of me. Also M2D seems to be a little glitchy, the backgrounds will mould into each other. Say if you were on the photos tab and looked and ur email the photos would stay behind the email making the email/sms unreadable?
