Yeah jail-breaking does off er a lot of extra flexibility but it also destabilised my machine a lot so since going OS3 I've not bothered breaking it at all.

Yep,

It could just be a button on the screen though which is what I was talking about though. But given that using Touch Flo I need to the go through the same rigmarole it's horses for courses. For Daron, a colleague who's a Macboy tried my new 3Gs and said it's far faster than his 3G, especially on the browsing speed.

I use sbsettings and it has toggles available for all comms functions from a drop down which appears from a screen gesture

I haven't checked the rules for the app store yet (and not relevant for work as I can use the enterprise tools to install anything I like) but I was thinking along the lines of an app that just performs a toggle and then quits, selecting what it toggles from the settings menu. Or possibly even a dedicated Wifi toggle app and then a dedicated BT toggle app.
