You appear to be the guru of all things Loox! So here's my problem. I have successfully upgraded my n560 to WM 6.5 from Newplowe, hurray! I hear you cry, unfortunately this version seems to think my Pocket Loox is a phone It's really annoying and munches battery power like you wouldn't believe!! So I thought I'd try WM 6.1 instead, but as I'm sure you know, the Flashing program only works from a WM 5 baseline. So how do I revert from WM 6.5 back to WM 5 please? I guess it'll involve completely wiping my ROM somehow, but fortunately I took your advice and backed up before upgrading

I wouldn't run WinMo 6.5 on the loox - I tried it a while back and it's pretty slow. Also, I personally didn't like several of the features, So I went back to 6.1

The flash program doesn't care what your existing OS on the Loox is. Indeed, when you go into boot loader mode as part of the flash process, the OS is out of the picture, as it were.

All you need to do is to get the ROM youwant to burn, and burn it in exactly the same way you put 6.5 on your Loox, and you should be good to go!

Let me know if this all works ok.

Btw, for the record, I still have my N560, but it's relegated to second place now that I've migrated to Android - I bought a Nexus One while I was in the States the other month. It really is a nice environment (Android, that is, not necessarily the States! ).
