Space Weather disrupts GPS

There is a report on PCPro's website today concerning research into the effects of Space Weather, such as solar storms, on GPS signals. They claim that events such as the Aurora Borealis can adversely affect GPS signals giving erroneous readings. Interesting stuff as they reckon we are currently experiencing a lull in solar activity with a peak expected in four years time!
