Google Search Today Screen Plug-in

Google have announced the availability of a Google Search Today screen plugin.

It's available OTA by going to Mobile on your device or by sending a SMS text from Mobile.

The SMS send feature does not appear to accept non US numbers and the only download for the Search feature is from the US page - or as least not available on the United Kingdom page. However, it looks as though the OTA install from the US page works for all (english speaking) locations.

Nice find Mailman seems great and I would like it on my device, but it is another one of those apps that need your phone number and I will not give it out!

I did the download by going directly to the web page and clicking the download. Didn't have to give my phone number out that way (unless I missed somthing).

Seems to work well excpet you have to use the keyboard enter as I cannot find a "Go" button.

That is a great find... I actually downloaded the cab in case anyone wants it... although I don't think it gets any easier than OTA...
