Re: O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here
I have a question.
Thus i have problem downloading the ROM from O2s site, can i download it from here and use it in the same maner (following user manual step-by-step) as explained in the other thread ?
Actualy i have problem downloading the ROM, cuz it doesn't somewhy accept my S/N.
My PDA is bought in Germany - could that be the bug ?
I haven't done anything still to my PDA since i've bought it - is it necessary to do anything else but that what is explained in the FAQ here - i mean CID unlock or sth like that ?
Thx a bunch ppl.

I explained in answer to your other post why you had problems with the device and log in. This upgrade is the official rom from the O2 site, and yes you can run it as instructed in the post you quoted without problems. You do not need to sim unlock, just download it straight to your desktop and run it from there. I hope you enjoy it.

Re: O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here
I forgot that you need to CID unlock your device to run any rom upgrade on it, this is just a simple application that you just run when connected to your device via activesync, as you would a rom upgrade. After installation you can then upgrade to any rom from any country. If you would like the instructions and the CID file I will post it for you, let me know.

Re: O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here
Yes please if it is possible. I haven't unlocked my PDA. When i looked for the last time, i had to pay sth like 30-40euro for CID unlocking it. Also i did not had how to pay ... so, please if it is OK i'd be happy to have it :P.

Re: O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here
I have attatched the pictorial guide and the file itself, please make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. After installing you will be able to install any rom. This all works, do this at your own risk as I cannot be held responsible if it goes wrong for you!
Make sure you extract the files first before running them.

Re: O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here
Hi again,
the problem still exists - i did all what is writen that i was supposed to in the FAQ file. The USPL "flash" went OK. So far so good, but after that i've tried with "RUU_Artemis_O2_UK_3.4.206.2_4.1.13.28_02.67.90_Sh ip" and again the same message after the 3rd procent - the same f*&kin error.
Any ideas ?
