WM6 and problem with vibration

I'd noticed over the past week or so my Orbit's vibration was getting weaker and weaker. It would usually vibrate strongo once and then almost as though the battery was failing it would get a lot weaker. Last night I updated to WM6 and now the phone doens't vibrate at all. Anyone know what might be up? I can't figure it out.

Re: WM6 and problem with vibration

I do not think this would be a rom problem, it will be a problem with the vibration motor itself, it has obviously got weaker and weaker and has now just given up and failed. Looks like you will be sending your device back under warranty.

Bizzarely it's now back. It's still weak but its vibrating again. I wonder should I send it back anyway.

Re: WM6 and problem with vibration

I would send it back just to play safe, because it is never going to be normal.

Re: WM6 and problem with vibration

If it's in warranty, send it back now. If you keep it, the motor is bound to fail as soon as the warranty expires.
