Re: help xda orbit problem !!!
Hi jaxon_b and welcome to 4WM
Have you installed any new software recently that could cause this? You have stated you pressed the button on the side, I take it you mean the power off and on button. Try a soft reset by inserting the stylus in the hole at the bottom of the device, if that doesn't bring it back try taking the battery out for a while and replacing it.
Failing the above you need to hard reset which involves holding down the two soft key buttons and holding them in while at the same time pushing the stylus into the reset hole, and following the on screen prompts.
If all of the above doesn't cure it then you will be looking at reflashing the devices rom.
I hope that helps!

Re: help xda orbit problem !!!
There is the official Windows Mobile 6 rom at the link below, to flash it put your device into bootloader mode connect to your PC by USB, do not worry about Activesync/WMDC connecting or running, then run the upgrade.
(O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis etc) WM6 rom upgrade available here)LINK

Re: help xda orbit problem !!!
Jaxon_b, the three colour screen is the Bootloader screen. Try and do the hard reset first.
Hold both the soft keys in and keep them pressed! While they are held in press the stylus into the soft reset hole on the LH side. Keep it there for a few seconds and you should see the hard reset instructions on the screen.
Let us know.
Failing that, the Bootloader can be used as Boz states to re-flash the device with a new ROM.
If the Orbit is more than 4 months old, I would suggect you upgrade it to the WM6 ROM anyway. I have written an Orbit upgrade FAQ which you can read here
Keep us informed as to what you do and how it goes!
