Is there any application available for using the Orbit's storage card as USB mass storage Device to carry my other business information with me and download to my PC when they required for use.

Thanks in advance.

There is a file around the net called WM5storaqe.CAB, it might even be in our downloads - not in a position to check at the moment.

Hi MuraliP369,

That's what WM5Storage should do, allow any PC to see your Orbit as a card-reader, but you will have to disable activesync. But from what you've written, WM5Storage won't run on your Orbit...

There is a commercial offering called Card Export II by Softick, which is WM5 compliant from there website, you can find the software here. The price is $14.95 + VAT....

Softick only works with the devices listed on their website. In my experience it works with most PCs, but there is the odd one that will not connect.

An alternative is to go for a hardware solution. MobyMemory sell housings which turn your card into a USB pen drive. Not too big to keep in your pocket, cheaper and probably more reliable than the software. Take a look here. Only £4.99.

The problem with the Orbit is that the MicroSD crd sits under the battery compartment, and is apparently none too secure in its locating method, so repeated removal to put in a card reader may not be an option.

Regards WM5torage- I can't get this to run on the Trinity either. When installing, you apparently need to have any app which accesses the SD card disabled (eg Pocket Informant), but I can't be fagged to try that!

Have you got an up to date version Neil? At first I couldn't get WM5torage to install to my Trinity, but a later version did install. However it did not then function as per the instructions so I wasn't able to connect to a PC which didn't have ActiveSync.
