Re: ROM version and Memory Usage - Slow Diamond

I'm thinking it's a good thing as now i won't be precious with it. I find the more overprotective i am of my gadgets the more likely i am to break them.

Well that's what i keep telling myself anyway.

1.5 on now and set up.

Re: ROM version and Memory Usage - Slow Diamond

Aye, playfighting is a dangerous sport, that's how the Axim X50v got broken whilst I was reviewing it... For me, it's usually something like getting out of the car and dropping the phone. Despite having the case with me, I'm training myself to put the device in the case whilst still in the car...

I thought diamonds were indestructable.
I got a skin case and screen saver for mine from Proporta. The skin case is pretty unobtrusive size wise and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I've got a "skin" for mine that the ebayer sent me with it. It is the ugliest thing i have ever seen. It is a really thick rubberised thing with diamondesque marks all over it.

I'll post a pic later when i'm home it truly needs to be seen to be believed.

Re: ROM version and Memory Usage - Slow Diamond

I was on switfBL 5.0 for a week (my longest custom diamond ROM so far )

Duttys 1.6 is fast and smooth no need to apply tweaks either. the only things I miss compared to SwiftBL are the 4 across icons (got a cab for that now) and the more standardized programs menu structure.

This could be network related but - The Radio in this ROM (07) seems a bit flaky - I last charged my phone midday yesterday and this morning just as I was replying to a topic on here the Data connection goes off (had to save post to notepad), now I can't make, but can receive phone calls. The battery is displaying 2 Bars - I seen previous on my trinity when the battery gets so low the network signal goes) But never on 2 bars. .

So I may flash back to Radio 05 which for me was the better and in comparision last longer.

It is the Orange network in my area

Re: ROM version and Memory Usage - Slow Diamond

I think I need to give the Phone a change overnight via the wall instead of usb, I must admit that the charge yesterday was for 2 hours via usb - so to be fare radio 07 needs further testing. SO far I have seen more positive comments
