Re: Holidays

That is indeed similar to what I've seen, so it does look like it is a device problem.

Re: Holidays

Well, at least that does sound like a driver issue, rather than hardware - which is good news. You just need a Radio update from HTC to fix it.

Re: Diamond GPS- Performance issues?

I've had similar issues. I've found the Diamond very slow to get a GPS lock. Sometimes as long as 15 minutes or more. On holiday recently I had to ditch it for navigation and change to a backup device.

Re: Diamond GPS- Performance issues?

Odd but since being home, and reactivating QuickGPS it has been like greased lightning for me .

There has been some comment about whether QGPS is applicable to the Diamond with its new chipset but my experience suggests it has an even greater effect than on previous devices .

Re: Diamond GPS- Performance issues?

I know of folks who find no difficulty in getting an initial lock, but maintaining it seems to be the problem, and if it is lost the getting the machine to re-lock onto a signal seems the greatest problem.
