1) goto NEW MMS, then select --> options --> configure
2) Ensure you enable Internet connections (in activesync or WMDC) when connected to your pc
3) read the HTCHome Weather thread. you have to modify one file to add your location.

Well, to configure MMS, you need to go to Messaging/ SMS_MMS and create a New MMS.
From there, you can use the Menu/Options links to set up the MMS server credentials

Re: Has anyone tried MAJIK on their hermes?
OK, I'm done installing and setting up.
I am now comparing it to Schap's 3.30c ROM since shadow gave me too much BT issues. But compared to that this ROM feels quicker. I do miss the configuration tools from that ROM. It's advanced config tool had the soft key changer built in (including custom labels) and it had a tool that set-up your operator settings (for a lot of operators including mine, which is dutch T-Mobile)
I haven't been able to test any device ID issues as I've switched to the Opera 8.65 beta which doesn't require activation.
All the enhancements I installed (WLM, Esmertec Java en X-button) all seem to work like a charm.

It looks ok except one thing, when I push Reset PPC instead of reseting it opens Task Manager.

Re: Has anyone tried MAJIK on their hermes?
Can someone confirm if this changes the device ID like in the previous release ? would save a lot of configuration/time as i use Tomtom traffic a lot and it is just so much hassle to get them to change it on there side.
Thanks

Re: Has anyone tried MAJIK on their hermes?
Hey JJ,
I'm installing now and will let you know how everything goes. I expect nothing less than the amazing happiness I have had with all your ROMS.
Two questions though..
1) Did you ever get TouchFlo working?
2) I'm not sure if you saw my other thread, but is it possible to configure the ROM to be able to read SMS messages in a foreign language?
Thanks!

Re: Has anyone tried MAJIK on their hermes?
So far everything is working great, still a small problem with my BT headset, Motorola H350, it works great for handsfree calling and sounds great. but each time I soft reset the phone I have to go into BT settings and hold on the device and choose "Set as Handsfree" to make the button on the H350 answer and end calls.
If I do not do that then I can only answer and end calls from the handset, even though I can hear and talk on the headset. This does appear to be the only small problem, and it is not anything that would turn me off of this ROM, great work!

Re: Has anyone tried MAJIK on their hermes?
Nice way of masking the release of your new ROM, JJ. Good thing I always try to read all your posts.
First impression: This is quicker than Shadow. That itself is a big positive for me. I will let you know once I get everything else going.
