How do I disassociate my device?

Re: ActiveSync with Exchange

If you go into the Mobile Admin Web Form you can delete the device from there.

Thumbs up Re: ActiveSync with Exchange

Guys,

I have found the issue and for future reference please take note as it has been a real pain to find, other users are likely to have this issue also.

My ActiveSyn Issue is casued by ANTIVIRUS on my Exchnage Server, in my case CA ITM. It itermitentely blocks mail flow with attachments. We are still trying to narrow down specifics, however turning it off makes push email work well again!

Anyway thought you should all know for future reference and or posts.

Regards

Baza

I don't have any problems have multiple windows open. I often times have two or three computers using Outlook Anywhere, my PPC sync'ing with AS, as well as a computer using OWA. My guess is re-setup your partnership or make sure your Exchange server is all up to date. I found a lot of Issues with Exchange 2003 pre- sp2 when it came to AS. If you are using 2003 still, make sure you have SP2 installed.

YEP! Know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Our antivirus was set up to not scan emails until the account was logged into locally. So while it would see the new messages it couldn't Process them to the device because they hadn't been scanned yet. We didn't have to disable it, just make it scan immediately...

Have been investigation options on config for mail scan on the server dosen't seem to matter what you do it it is turned on it stops the push email until you log onto the local acocunt.

Whats more submitting an issue to CA is like pulling teeth, they don't want to know about the problem!

Thanks for making me feel better. . . . . .I not the lone ranger!

Re: ActiveSync with Exchange

This may be a stupid question but ITM does support brick level exchange access doesnt it?
Also you have not disabled permissions for the service account it uses on ALL mailboxes including the store?

Can't the AV run as a service and use the local account permissions in the service dialog?
