!!! New official Dopod (Hermes) WM6 3.54.707.3 WWE rom (12-7-2007) !!!

This is the official rom for HTC Dopod (Hermes) it is the WWE version, and has just been released, it will work fine on any Hermes

This version is courtesy of mrvanx it has been repackaged with CustomRUU 4.3

This will flash to ANY Hermes device, select 'Autodetect' and off you go!

The IPL, SPL and radio have been removed, you can therefore keep your radio version or upgrade to one of your choice.


Important if you have not already installed Olipro v7 2.10 you must install it on your Hermes before you run this rom upgrade, it is available on the downloads page HERE , it is insurance against bricking your Hermes, please also read the 'how to' in the excellent mrvanx guide found HERE to install it.

All tested all works fine.

Download at the bottom of the page.








Download the rom from HERE then extract the rar file to a new folder on your desktop and then run RUUWrapper.exe.

Flashed and running fine, Network Wizard told me my operator was not supported on T-mobile US. Just chose the option to not show the message again and all is working good so far. Will load all my apps and report back anything new. Camera works fine and appears that all else is well.

Do you know if this upgrade will work on the XDA Trion?
Is there a step by step help doc for doing this upgrade, i'm quite new to this ppc stuff, and i wouldn't want to mess it up?

I had the HARD SPL on mine V2.10.olipro and the ROM went on fine and is working fine.

I too have the Olipro 2.10 and had no trouble flashing the official ROM, it works quite nice too.

Since this is a Dopod rom, the Network Wizard is just for some Asian countries. I had to load this utility on my Hermes when I was in Thailand for a month because I had swapped my AT&T sim for a local one. So unless you are in an Asian country, it probably won't detect your settings..

No it will not detect your settings unless you are in Asia so you will need to download the Network Settings Wizard from HTC HERE , it is for the Trinity but will work fine on the Hermes.

Also the regional settings are set to Australia by default, which is ok for the UK time format.

Hi I'm in Japan and the network says i am not recognized. I have installed the usual softbank files to get my phone working and now when i click the message button, program etc it wont load. it flashes then goes back to the main screen.

Any other softbank users with this issue.

You may need to soft reset if that does not work try a hard reset. Are you using one of the latest radio roms?
