Official HTC WM6 release - your opinions please

First of all, I'd like to say hello to everyone in this forum. This is my little debut here. :)

We've been waiting quite a long time for this moment, and finally it's here. :) All of you who already flashed official WM6 ROM into their Hermeses - please post your thoughts about it, how does it look like (screenshots are welcome), is it stable, does it lack some of the features, etc. For example: does it have VoIP on board? Is dialer and comm mgr 'old-style', or maybe 'touch-style'?

I hope that this topic could help us to decide whether to go for flashing official WM6, or maybe our chefs ROMs. Personally, I'm a little bit confused, if I should flash official, or Black Majik, or maybe wait for freshly cooked ROMs..? Thanks for all your input in advance.

It is dopod branded, dialer and comm manager are old style, no sign of VoIP

Think I might wait until Jas has had a go at it and see what happens I get network wizard errors cause Tmobile Uk is not supported just get the feeling that I might have a bit of trouble with it and its no way near as good as some of the ROMS we are used to not HTC home either.

Just select the menu item that says 'Dont show me this again' and configurae for T-Mobile Web'n'Walk settings, thats what i did.

Also i install the Kaiser HTC Home plugin, seems to all be working pretty good.

But like you, i cant wait for JJ's next incarnation of Black

OK, since jasjamming had troubles with releasing stable Black Satin release, I've given an official upgrade a go yesterday evening. My first impressions:
- generally works pretty stable and is a little bit snappier than my previous ROM (Sleuth's fix on lastest LVSW), however I've encountered a few glitches already, one of those ended up with SR (while changing settings for Tasks today plugin - to be specific) :(
- indeed, there is no VoIP, but installing MajikVOIP.cab from www.4winmobile.com forum made it work great
- there was that ugly Cyberon Voice Commander installed by default, but fortunately it could be uninstalled easily and replaced with Cyberon Voice Dialler from cab file
- I've installed 'touch-style' Comm Manager, dialer and also 5-tab Home plugin - all working great, with no problems at all
- seems like Bluetooth works stable with headset in my car FINALLY :)
- I thought it was a bug in previous ROM, but here's the same: little amber light still is NOT flashing after missed call - does anyone else experience it?

Overall, so far so good. :) I think I'll stick with that ROM and patiently wait for Kaiser, unless one of the chefs would come up with some new, groundbreaking release. ;)

I flashed from Black magic today and immedietly changed the dialler since the on on the ROM is old and so is the Comm Manager.Otherwise it seems fast and stable but I WILL try the new black when it comes out cause this one though stable and fast (So far) is a little .....boring!

I WAS LATE FOR WORK TODAY BECAUSE THE ALARM DID NOT WORK.I woke up ,looked at the phone and the clock was frozen the changed to the current time after a second!

Wonder if someone can share a link with Black Magiik rom ?.. Never got it and really wanna try it out. Can't wait for Black Satin...
